China's Foreign-Exchange Reserves Rise More Than Expected

China's foreign-exchange reserves rose more than expected in September, marking a third consecutive monthly increase, data from the People's Bank of China showed on Monday.

Reserves grew by $28.15 billion to reach $3.316 trillion by the end of September, surpassing economists' forecast of $3.304 trillion, according to a survey by The Wall Street Journal.
