Gevo to Supply Renewable Racing Fuel Blendstock to Shell
By Stephen Nakrosis
Gevo said it will supply low-carbon intensity fuel blendstock to Shell Global Solutions Deutschland GmbH for use in motorsports as part of a purchase agreement between the two companies.
Gevo said its renewable blendstock is suitable for premium motorsport fuels, and is expected to meet the demands of the racing schedules while providing lower emissions.
The company also said its high-performance racing fuel blendstock is produced from sustainable feedstocks like agricultural waste.
Gevo said its mission is to convert renewable energy and biogenic carbon into sustainable fuels and chemicals with a net zero or better carbon footprint.
