RWE to Purchase Around 120 Wind Turbines from Nordex
By Pierre Bertrand
RWE said that it has signed a multiyear contract for the supply of around 120 wind turbines from Nordex.
The German energy company said that the contract secured 800 megawatts of total capacity and that it will purchase the turbines from the Germany-based turbine manufacturer over the course of the next two and half years.
The turbines will be utilized by RWE in Europe, the company said, adding that it already operates 53 wind farms in seven countries with Nordex turbines.
RWE didn't disclose financial details.
