Nvidia Chief Executive Jensen Huang described demand for the company's new AI chips, branded Blackwell, as "insane."
AI powerhouse Microsoft plans to spend about $4.75 billion over the next two years in cloud and AI infrastructure in Italy, the latest bid from American tech giants to expand capabilities overseas. SoftBank Group Chief Executive Masayoshi Son reiterated his bullish forecasts for AI, predicting that the technology will have human-level mental powers in a few years.
