Airbus Gets Order for 10 Planes From airBaltic

By David Sachs

Airbus will supply Air Baltic Corp. with 10 new planes.

The French aircraft maker said Tuesday that it signed a deal with the Latvian carrier, which goes by airBaltic, to sell it 10 A220-300s. Neither company disclosed financial details.

The deal exercises an option from a previous deal, the companies said, and brings the airline's order total to 90 aircraft.
