--Barclays is exploring buying Tesco's banking operations and has submitted an indicative bid, Reuters reports, citing unnamed sources.
--The U.K. retailer has asked potential buyers to submit offers for Tesco Bank by the end of the week and other offers besides the British lender's are expected, Reuters reports.
--Barclays declined to comment and Tesco didn't immediately respond to a request for comment by Dow Jones Newswires.
