The company was formed after the merger of the U.S.-based IT consulting company Mphasis and the Indian IT services company BFL Software. Mphasis has more than 30 offices globally, with delivery centers in India, Sri Lanka, China, Australia, Japan, North America, and Europe. The company operates through four primary segments: banking and financial services, insurance, technology media and telecom, logistics and transportation, and others.
