By Connor Hart

TechnipFMC received two subsea contracts from Brazil-based Petrobras for projects in the pre-salt fields offshore Brazil.

The Houston company, which provides technologies to the traditional- and new-energy industries, said Thursday that the first award, worth between $250 million and $500 million, is a contract to design, engineer and manufacture riser flexible pipe. The company will also supply associated services, including packing and storage.

The second award, which is worth between $75 million and $250 million and followed a competitive tender, is a contract to design, engineer and manufacture subsea production systems, set to be deployed on the Atapu 2, Sepia 2 and Roncador projects. The company said the contract also covers installation support and life-of-field services, as well as the option for additional equipment and services.
