Raytheon Gets $1.1 Billion Contract Modification for Air-to-Air Missile Contract

Raytheon received a $1.1 billion contract modification to a previously-awarded contract for the production of air-to-air missiles.

The modification covers additional production, as well as support hardware and activities, the Defense Department said on Wednesday.

Work will be done in Tucson, Ariz., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2028.

The contract involves foreign military sales to several countries including Bahrain, Canada, Japan and Ukraine.

Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Air Dominance Division Contracting Office, Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., is the contracting activity.
