Nutrien Names Mark Thompson CFO

Fertilizer company Nutrien has named Mark Thompson its next executive vice president and chief financial officer, effective Aug. 26.
He succeeds Pedro Farah who will remain with the company in an advisory capacity until Dec. 31, the company said on Wednesday.
Thompson is currently EVP and chief commercial officer at Nutrien. He has held a number of positions at the company, including chief strategy & sustainability officer, chief corporate development & strategy officer, and VP of business development for the retail business, Nutrien said.
