Anglo Asian Mining's Gedabek Gold Mine to Restart Operations Gradually
By Christian Moess Laursen
Anglo Asian Mining said operations at its Gedabek gold mine in Azerbaijan will restart gradually.
The Azerbaijan-focused gold, copper and silver producer said Tuesday that the country's prime minister issued a press release saying the plant can gradually restart operations, following the completion of a health, environment and safety review.
This will take place in accordance with a timetable to be agreed on with the government, the miner said.
The company suspended operations at the mine as a precautionary measure while the review was being carried out.
