Coast Entertainment Earnings: Eventful Year, but Uneventful Result

A continuing recovery in theme parks is finally showing up in Coast Entertainment's result at the group level, courtesy of a clampdown on corporate costs. The 56% increase in theme parks' underlying EBITDA to AUD 7 million coincided with a 23% fall in corporate overheads to AUD 6 million. However, the result was in line with our expectations with current operating trends warranting no material adjustments to our earnings forecasts.
