OGE Energy Earnings: Electricity Demand Growth Continues to Push Earnings Higher

We are reaffirming our $38 per share fair value estimate for OGE Energy after the company reported earning $0.51 per share in the second quarter, up from $0.44 in the second quarter of 2023. Unusually warm weather contributed $0.05 benefit in the quarter and higher-than-expected demand growth is pushing full-year earnings toward the top of management's $2.06-$2.18 EPS guidance range.
