First Solar Earnings: Selective Approach to New Bookings Continues Amid Policy Uncertainty

We are raising our fair value estimate for no-moat First Solar to $190 from $185 following second-quarter earnings. The higher valuation is the result of slightly increasing our average selling price expectations over the medium term. We view shares as slightly overvalued.
