Paccar Earnings: Second-Quarter Sales Fall Slightly Amid Normalization in New-Truck Orders

Paccar's second-quarter truck, parts, and other revenue decreased 2% year over year. This represents a marked slowdown from robust 22% growth for full-year 2023 due in part to the US truckload-industry pullback and resulting normalization in new heavy-duty truck orders.
