Sky has made no secret of its desire to expand its advertising business. It was openly unveiled in mid-2022 when management pursued, and subsequently aborted the purchase of, Mediaworks' radio and outdoor operations. Since then, Sky's advertising unit, mainly in the form of its free-to-air TV operation Prime/Sky Open, has delivered stellar results.
