Delta Air Lines raises its dividend by 50%

By Mary de Wet

Delta Air Lines (DAL) raised its quarterly dividend by 50% to 15 cents a share.

The payout, equal to 60 cents a year, represents an annual yield of 1.2% based on Thursday's closing price of $49.61.

The airline said the dividend is payable Aug. 20 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on July 30.

Delta reinstated its dividend in June 2023 at 10 cents a share, after suspending the payments while the COVID-19 pandemic roiled the travel industry.
