Trending: Boeing CEO Testifies Before U.S. Senate Subcommittee
14:08 ET -- Boeing is one of the most mentioned companies in the U.S. across all news items in the past 12 hours, according to Factiva data. Chief Executive David Calhoun faces a congressional grilling on Tuesday that will include surprise allegations from another whistleblower about quality issues. Calhoun is appearing before a Senate subcommittee probing problems at the aircraft maker, from glitches in its production process in the wake of a door plug blowout to claims of retaliation against employees who raise red flags. "Our culture is far from perfect, but we are taking action and making progress," Calhoun is expected to say, according to prepared remarks. In March, the CEO said he would step down by year's end.
