Riskonnect Announces Peter Vlerick as Chief Financial Officer
Integrated risk management technology provider appoints seasoned finance leader to help position the company for its next phase of growth
Riskonnect, the leader in integrated risk management (IRM) solutions, today announced the appointment of Peter Vlerick as Chief Financial Officer. Vlerick brings over 30 years of finance leadership experience for both public and private equity-backed software and technology-enabled service businesses. In his new role, Vlerick will help position Riskonnect for its next phase of growth as the provider continues on its mission to enable customers to easily bring all aspects of risk under one roof.
“Riskonnect is on an accelerated growth path, following five strategic acquisitions in the last four years,” said Jim Wetekamp, CEO of Riskonnect. “I worked alongside Peter during our time at BravoSolution and have seen his leadership first-hand. His expertise will be invaluable as we drive Riskonnect into its next phase and advance our leadership position in the market.”
Vlerick is a proven finance leader. Most recently, he was the CFO of Keypath Education, a $140 million publicly traded, global EdTech company in the online education space. He also held CFO positions at BravoSolution, Avatar Solutions, and Servigistics, Inc., which was sold to Parametric Technology (PTC) for $220 million in 2012. Vlerick graduated magna cum laude from Boston College with his bachelor’s in accounting, received his MBA from the University of Chicago, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
“I’m thrilled to join the Riskonnect team and help the company achieve its growth goals,” said Vlerick. “The risk landscape is dynamic. The need for businesses to stay ahead of evolving risks has never been greater. I’m eager to help Riskonnect expand and enable more organizations worldwide to strategically manage risk with Riskonnect’s solutions.”
