In order to find solutions to close the racial wealth gap, we look specifically at the current state of savings for Hispanic American households. Existing research finds the median Hispanic household only has $36,100 in wealth, which is less than 20% of the median white household. Our research further explores this large gap and digs into drivers of the lower savings rates.
