Our impression of Panasonic’s June quarter results is mixed. Operating income of JPY 83.8 billion was down 7% year on year and below our expectation of JPY 90 billion. Still, excluding the impact of the one-time expenses and inventory adjustments of the automotive battery in the energy segment, it was broadly in line with our expectations.
