Vontier Earnings: Full-Year Guidance Cut Due to Macroeconomic Headwinds

Narrow-moat Vontier’s second-quarter adjusted EPS of $0.63 fell $0.07 short of the FactSet consensus estimate, sending shares down 10% following the earnings release. We’ve lowered our fair value estimate to $40.50 per share from $42.50, driven by our lower near-term revenue growth and operating margin expectations, partially offset by time value of money.
