IGO Earnings: Long-Term Outlook Intact Despite Near-Term Cost Inflation

IGO’s June quarter 2024 update showed production is back on track after a challenging March quarter. With excess spodumene (lithium mineral) stockpiles now transferred to offtake partners, the mine can once again operate at capacity. Fiscal 2024 spodumene production of 1.4 million metric tons was broadly in line with our expectations, and we expect further improvement in fiscal 2025, to roughly 1.6 million metric tons, the upper end of management guidance.
