Tenaris’ Q2 Results Reminiscent of Mid-2010s as High Oil Demand Drives Favorable Tubes Pricing

Tenaris posted very strong results in the second quarter. Total revenue was $2.8 billion—a level not seen since 2013—representing an increase of 83% year over year and 18% sequentially. Firmwide operating margin also expanded to 23% (compared with 20% last quarter), also a level not seen since 2013.
