Union Backs Pro-Labor Candidates at the Federal, State, and Local Levels
CHICAGO, Oct. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Ahead of the upcoming midterm elections, Teamsters Joint Council 25 has endorsed JB Pritzker (D) for re-election as Governor of Illinois and Christian Mitchell (D) for Lieutenant Governor, along with a slate of federal, state, and local candidates who have demonstrated a strong commitment to Illinois Teamsters.
For U.S. Senate, Joint Council 25 is backing Juliana Stratton (D). For the U.S. House of Representatives, Joint Council 25 is supporting Jonathan Jackson (D-1st District), Donna Miller (D-2nd District), Delia Ramirez (D-3rd District), Patty Garcia (D-4th District), Mike Quigley (D-5th District), Sean Casten (D-6th District), La Shawn Ford (D-7th District), Melissa Bean (D-8th District), Daniel Biss (D-9th District), Brad Schneider (D-10th District), Bill Foster (D-11th District), Nikki Budzinski (D-13th District), Lauren Underwood (D-14th District), Jennifer Todd (D-15th District), and Eric Sorensen (D-17th District).

Joint Council 25 has also endorsed local candidates running for the Illinois House of Representatives, Illinois State Senate, Cook and Will County elected offices, Chicago Board of Education, and State Constitutional Offices.
