Arizona Cardinals rookie Marvin Harrison Jr. scores a $4.9 million luxury estate

Arizona Cardinals rookie Marvin Harrison Jr. made headlines for his underwhelming debut performance in the NFL - but when it comes to the real estate market, the 22-year-old leaves no doubt about his star power.

The Ohio State University graduate - who is the son of Hall of Fame wide receiver Marvin Harrison - has proven his dedication to his new team by purchasing a $4.9 million Paradise Valley, Ariz., mansion just 30 miles away from the Cardinals' stadium.

While many college graduates his age would likely balk at such a huge sum, it represents a tiny portion of the $35 million four-year contract Harrison signed with the Cardinals in spring 2024, which included a $22.5 million signing bonus.

The Cardinals chose Harrison as the fourth overall pick in the first round of the draft, making him the highest-drafted wide receiver from the college ever.

Harrison's debut NFL showing might have left some less than impressed, but he has since proven that he's got plenty more to give, making a solid rebound in the Cardinals' Week 2 game against the L.A. Rams and catching two touchdown passes.

Judging by that performance, his decision to purchase a home so soon after signing seems wise.

The 4,507-square-foot estate boasts a stylish modern interior.

Nestled in a luxury neighborhood adjacent to The Ritz-Carlton Residences, the three-bedroom desert mansion on a corner lot offers views of the Camelback and Mummy Mountains. The future Palmeraie shopping center is nearby.

The contemporary home features floor-to-ceiling windows, oak flooring, ebonized rift-cut oak cabinets, natural quartzite countertops, and motorized shades.

The living room has a custom Venetian-plastered and tiled fireplace surround. Glass walls look out to the pool, water and fire features, and a kitchen out back.

The chef's kitchen is equipped with Gaggenau appliances and wall ovens. A limestone accent wall separates the dining room from the living area. Motorized shades, a Lutron lighting system, and flush-mounted surround-sound speakers can also be found throughout the home.

The first-floor primary suite comes with dual vanities, a soaking tub, an enormous walk-in closet, and slider access to a private terrace.

The lower-level entertainment room has a built-in wet bar.

Harrison spent three years at Ohio State and was a two-time All-American. Teaming up with Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray, the young wide receiver has the potential to eclipse the Cardinals rookie receiving record of 1,377 yards set by Anquan Boldin in 2003.
