By Colin Kellaher
Accenture's board has raised the consulting giant's quarterly dividend by 15%, to $1.48 from $1.29, and approved an additional $4 billion in stock buybacks.
The new payout, equal to $5.92 a year, represents an annual yield of about 1.76%, based on Wednesday's closing price of $337.05, up from 1.53% previously.
The Dublin-based company said the increased dividend is payable Nov. 15 to shareholders of record Oct. 10.
Accenture, which sports a market capitalization of roughly $211 billion, said it expects to return at least $8.3 billion in cash to shareholders through dividends and share repurchases in fiscal 2025, up from $7.8 billion in fiscal 2024, which included $4.5 billion in share repurchases.
