SAP, Carahsoft Face U.S. Probe for Potential Price-Fixing, Bloomberg Says
-- U.S. officials are investigating German software giant SAP, reseller Carahsoft Technology and other companies over potential price-fixing on sales to the U.S. military and other parts of the government, Bloomberg reports, citing federal court records filed in Baltimore.
-- Justice Department lawyers are examining if the companies may have overcharged U.S. government agencies for purchases valued at more than $2 billion since 2014, Bloomberg reports.
-- Carahsoft's offices in Virginia were raided on Tuesday by FBI agents and military investigators, according to Bloomberg. Carahsoft spokesperson Mary Lange told Bloomberg the search was "an investigation into a company with which Carahsoft has done business in the past."
-- SAP declined to comment when contacted by Dow Jones Newswires.
