Coca-Cola Dropping Spiced Flavor After Less Than A Year
By Colin Kellaher
Coca-Cola is pulling the plug on its Coca-Cola Spiced soda, less than a year after unveiling the flavor as a permanent addition to its North American lineup.
Coca-Cola didn't say why it was phasing out the product, but the Atlanta company issued a statement saying it is "always looking at what our consumers like and adjusting our range of products."
The company said it plans to introduce a new flavor in 2025.
Coca-Cola unveiled Coca-Cola Spiced, featuring raspberry and a blend of warm spiced flavors, in February. The company said the product was on store shelves just seven weeks after it was conceived.
