China Industrial Profits Continue Run of Growth

Profits at China's industrial firms rose 4.1% in July from a year earlier, accelerating from the 3.6% growth recorded in June, according to data from the National Bureau of Statistics released on Tuesday.
In the first seven months of the year, industrial profits rose 3.6% from a year earlier, which compared with the 2.3% drop recorded for the whole of 2023, official data showed.
