Federman & Sherwood investigates Riverside Resort & Casino (“Riverside”) for data breach. On September 5, 2024, Riverside filed a notice of data breach with the Attorney General Offices of Maine and California after discovering that confidential information was compromised in an apparent cyberattack. In this notice Riverside explains that the incident resulted in an unauthorized party being able to access certain individuals’ sensitive information. Headquartered in Laughlin, Nevada, Riverside is a well-known hotel and casino resort. Riverside attracts 5 million visitors annually and employs 1,700 people. The resort generates approximately $316 million in annual revenue.
