Church Pension Group Appoints Geeva Ebens Chief People Officer

The Church Pension Group (CPG), a financial services organization that serves The Episcopal Church, today announced the appointment of Geeva Ebens as Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer (CPO). She will replace CPG’s current CPO, Ted Elias, who will assist in transitioning the role before his retirement on October 1, 2024.

She will be responsible for human resources, facilities, and corporate sustainability and will report directly to CPG Chief Executive Officer and President Mary Kate Wold.

Ms. Ebens has more than 20 years of multidisciplinary business experience and previously served as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Omnicom Health Group. Before this, she held various senior-level human resources roles of increasing importance at Marsh and Mercer. She also spent 12 years in business roles at Pfizer. She received an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a BA in economics from Amherst College.
