Mineral Resources Earnings: Sharply Lower but Hopefully the Nadir; Debt Looks Elevated

No-moat Mineral Resources reported a 77% decline in underlying fiscal 2024 net profit after tax to AUD 174 million. Although sharply lower, this is around 24% ahead of our AUD 140 million expectations. Net interest expense was lower than we anticipated, with more capitalized.
