Bunk beds sold by Walmart, Home Depot, Amazon and others recalled over faulty slats

A recall has been issued for more than 120,000 bunk beds that pose 'fall and impact hazards'

Walker Edison is voluntarily recalling 121,000 twin bunk beds that may have slats that break and pose falling and impact hazards.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission warns that "consumers should immediately stop using the recalled bunk beds." There have been 14 reports of slats breaking on Walker Edison Furniture bunk beds and one reported minor injury, the company says.

The recall covers several bunk-bed models that were sold at retailers including Walmart (WMT), Home Depot (HD), Amazon (AMZN), Overstock (OSTK) and Wayfair (W) from February 2010 to February 2022.

The model names of the products and their descriptions are:

Consumers who have products affected by the recall are eligible to receive a free repair kit consisting of 12 wooden slats and instructions.
