Nike Layoffs at World Headquarters to Reach 740
By Stephen Nakrosis
Nike said on Friday it would lay off a total of about 740 employees at its world headquarters in Beaverton, Ore.
The sports footwear and apparel company said in February that it planned to reduce its workforce by about 1,600 people.
This is the second phase of job cuts at its headquarters following an earlier reduction in staff earlier this year, according to the company.
