Ecolab Stock Rises 7% on 4Q Revenue Growth, Upbeat Guidance

Shares of Ecolab rose after the hygiene and infection-prevention company posted higher fourth-quarter sales.
The stock rose about 7% to $216.94 in morning trading. Shares are up more than 46% over the past 12 months.
The company's fourth-quarter results topped Wall Street analysts' forecasts. For 2024, Ecolab is targeting adjusted earnings of $6.10 a share to $6.50 a share. Analysts expected $6.14 a share.
