Honeywell CEO to Succeed Chairman in June
By Dean Seal
The chief executive of Honeywell International will become its next board chairman in June, succeeding the same former CEO he took over for less than a year ago.
The industrial conglomerate said Thursday morning that Chief Executive Vimal Kapur will take on the additional role in June after Executive Chairman Darius Adamczyk retires.
Adamczyk served as CEO from March 2017 until June of last year when Kapur, then the company's chief operating officer, was tapped to take the top job. Adamczyk said at an investment conference last year that he wasn't sick or being "pushed out by the board."
Honeywell also said Thursday that William Ayer will succeed D. Scott Davis as the board's lead independent director.
