Wrap Account

An investment relationship where clients invest in one or more money managers and the administrative and management fees and commissions are "wrapped" into one fee, usually paid quarterly. The wrap fee varies according to the amount of invested assets.

The term wrap is often used to describe mutual fund asset allocation programs that offer investment products that include more than one money manager.
