Dow Jones Transportation Average

An index measuring the value of 20 stocks in the airline, railroad, trucking, and shipping industries. Like the better-known Dow Jones Industrial Average, it is priceweighted, meaning it is based on the prices of the individual stocks, rather than their market capitalizations.
