Apex Systems Earns VETS Indexes Recognized Employer Designation
Award recognizes organizations that unleash the employment potential of veterans in IT
Apex Systems, a leading global technology services firm, and ASGN (NYSE: ASGN) brand, is proud to announce that the Company has earned the designation of VETS Indexes Recognized Employer in the 2024 VETS Indexes Employer Awards. This award recognizes Apex Systems’ commitment to recruiting, hiring, retaining, developing, and supporting veterans and the military-connected community.
“We are honored and proud to be recognized as a 2024 VETS Indexes Recognized Employer,” said Dylan Kodad, Apex Systems’ National Veteran advocate. “At Apex, our commitment to recruiting, hiring, and supporting veterans and the military-connected community is unwavering. This achievement underscores our dedication to providing opportunities and support for those who have served our nation. We remain steadfast in our mission to empower our veterans with meaningful career paths in the ever-evolving IT field.”
Kodad was recently a recipient of the 2024 Veteran Champions of the Year in Corporate America award. This award is presented by Military Friendly® to those who go above and beyond in championing military veterans in the civilian workplace.
“Competition for the VETS Indexes Employer Awards was tougher than ever in 2024, as a record number of organizations participated,” said George Altman, president of VETS Indexes. “Even with hundreds of employers in the running, Apex Systems demonstrated a strong dedication to veteran employment. Congratulations to Apex Systems on this achievement!”
Apex Systems is a proud V3-certified company that maintains a long-standing history of support for military members through its Veteran Redeployment Initiative. This initiative is specifically designed to assist those who have served our nation and their spouses in finding opportunities within the evolving IT field. This initiative also includes partnerships with the Department of Labor, Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Veteran Services, and STEM organizations and nonprofits.
Additional accolades and Company efforts demonstrating Apex Systems’ longstanding support of veterans and military include:
- Hire Heroes USA Top 5 Employer in 2021 for empowering over 12,500 veterans and military spouses to secure new employment.
- Military Friendly® designations dating back to 2018 for creating sustainable and meaningful career paths, community outreach, brand enthusiasm, and enduring partnerships for veterans and the military.
- Apex Systems provides employees the option to participate in various employee resource groups (ERGs) that offer development and networking opportunities to advance one’s career. VALOR@Apex is an ERG that represents a community for those who have served or currently serve in the military, their families, and those who support them. This ERG seeks to provide members with a professional network and assist veterans during their transition into civilian life within Apex Systems. Participation in this group continues to grow.
- In 2023, Apex Systems participated in 33 veteran-focused philanthropy events and established 14 new partnerships with veteran hiring organizations, including Vets2PM and Hire Heroes USA.
Each year ASGN conducts an anonymous Company-wide Employee Engagement Survey. In the 2023 survey, 11 percent of employees identified themselves as veterans. Additional information on employee demographics as well as further details on Apex Systems’ and ASGN’s combined efforts to support the veteran community will be made available in the upcoming months in ASGN’s 2023 Environmental, Social, and Governance Report.
