The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into Nissan North America, Inc. with respect to their recent data breach. On November 7, 2023, Nissan North America, Inc. learned that it was a victim of a targeted cyberattack. Upon learning of the attack, Nissan promptly notified law enforcement and began taking immediate actions to investigate, contain, and successfully terminate the threat. Nissan began reviewing the compromised data and recently discovered files containing certain personal information of its employees was accessed. The following information was obtained: individuals name and Social Security number.
